The "Berchtesgadener Land" district is a fascinating area for cycling. Whether you choose to travel through the hilly Nonntal area leading to Bayerisch Gmain or along the more level valley between Bad Reichenhall and Salzburg, you'll pass landscapes with lovely alpine meadows, rugged cliffs and crystal-clear lakes.

Our cycling region is characterised by many different routes with various degrees of difficulty. There are routes suitable for all types of cyclists, from sporting mountain tours right through to relaxed cycling trips for beginners and families.

Bad Reichenhall itself is located alongside several picturesque cycling routes: the "Mozart Cycle Path", "Saalach Valley Cycle Path", "Lake Constance-Königssee Cycle Path" and the "Saltworks Cycle Path".

Do the mountains look a bit too steep to you? This can’t be possible! The Bavarian spa resort is indeed anything but flat, but as the first "Movelo region" in Europe, we have the perfect solution for you. To ensure that you can enjoy a very special and relaxed form of cycling, there is a "Swiss Flyer" rental station close to the hotel. When you pedal on this bicycle, a sensor measures your pedalling power and controls the extra "support" given to you by the electric motor. You'll be surprised at how relaxed you will feel whilst successfully completing longer trips with larger climbs.

Of course, if you prefer to pedal yourself, we can also provide you with a completely normal and traditional bicycle for hire!
