What is the deal regarding data security / SSL encryption? All security-relevant data is SSL encrypted within our online booking! Here we work with a certificate produced by the company Equifax, which is installed on the server side (in the Apache webserver). Because our online booking is integrated by means of an “i-Frame”, you will not see an “https://”-URL in the address bar of your browser and there will be no “padlock” or similar symbol for the corresponding data security – however, this is guaranteed at all times without limitation.
What’s the deal with the Hotel Navigator? The Hotel Navigator is an external review system operated by Hotelnavigator GmbH based in Munich. The Hotel Navigator evaluates the customer opinions of AMBER hotel guests, compiles them and displays the overall result on the AMBER homepage.
What is the booking ID in the online booking and where can I find it? With a valid booking ID you can, for example, book certain offers and overnight stays more cheaply. You receive these booking IDs within the scope of marketing campaigns, customer retention measures etc. and the respective booking IDs can always only be redeemed via the AMBER-HOTELS.de website
Which room facilities do the AMBER HOTELS have? Each of our hotels offer different room categories. The facilities are in keeping with the respective 3- or 4-star classification. If not stated otherwise, the prices for the standard category (Bestprice) rooms apply. All of our rooms have a telephone, satellite TV, a hair dryer, shower/WC or bathtub/WC.
Check-in / Check-out
From when can I occupy my room and when must I vacate it? Your room will be available on your day of arrival from 15:00, and on your day of departure you must vacate your room by 11:00.
Are pets permitted in the hotel?
At AMBER pets are allowed in the room. The costs of the first night (no food) amounted to € 10.00 per dog. The following night / nights per dog per night will be charged € 5.00 – € 10,00 each. Please clarify the details with the respective hotel prior to your arrival! For instance, clarify the type of pet and any special considerations.
What are the costs for children in AMBER HOTELS? Children up to the age of 6 are free of charge. Children up to the age of 12 can stay overnight for free in their parents’ room and receive discounts on breakfast and meals. In Bad Reichenhall children aged up to 12 receive a discount of 75% on their night’s stay/breakfast. Other benefits can be found HERE»
Means of payment
Which means of payment are possible when making an online booking? Generally speaking, you are not required to settle your online booking immediately during the booking procedure at AMBER-HOTELS.de. However, there are certain times for each hotel (e.g. during trade fairs, events) during which online bookings must be settled immediately! In this case you can pay using the following credit cards: MasterCard, VISA and American Express. Depending on the hotel, JCB and Diners are also accepted.
What exactly are the “Happy Days”? Are you familiar with the “Happy Hour”? Wikipedia describes it as follows: “Happy Hour is a marketing term for a certain period of time in which a restaurant or bar offers price reductions on alcoholic beverages such as beer, wine or cocktails.” At AMBER HOTELS there are “Happy Days” – on certain days, e.g. on weekends and public holidays, there are special prices and offers for an overnight stay in the AMBER HOTEL of your choice.Offers »
What do the hotel star ratings actually mean? Hotel stars do not (as one might presume) mean a “higher price” or extravagant service provided by a hotel! No, hotel stars say a lot more about the general facilities and the range of services offered by a hotel. AMBER HOTELS are all 3- or 4-star hotels, whereby the 3-star hotels each have the SUPERIOR add-on (hotels at which the services go far beyond what is required receive the additional “Superior” title):
