Park conveniently in the underground garage with 100 available spaces. Parking in the underground garage is subject to a fee.
By Car
Take the A8 motorway Munich-Salzburg, exit Bad Reichenhall, and continue on the B20 towards Bad Reichenhall, exit Kurgebiet. Follow the “red hotel route” along Münchner Allee. On the left side, you will see a hotel sign and a flag-lined entrance to the AMBER HOTEL Bavaria. Alternatively, you can travel via the “Romantic Road – German Alpine Road” from Füssen and the royal castles via Oberammergau, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and Tegernsee to Bad Reichenhall.

By Train
Arrive and depart with Deutsche Bahn to Bad Reichenhall station. The hotel is 300 m from the Bad Reichenhall station, on the left-hand side across the street in Münchner Allee. After exiting the station building, cross the street at the pedestrian traffic light, turn left, and walk about 200 m past the Volksbank. After another 50 m, turn right into the hotel entrance. The hotel is not visible from the street; it is located behind the clinic.
Our Tip:
Travel conveniently by train, optionally via Salzburg. The train offers a daily direct connection between Hamburg and Berchtesgaden with the IC “Königssee” (in both directions).
And from Salzburg, you can easily reach Bad Reichenhall by train, bus, or taxi. By the way, you can travel for free locally with the guest card!
By Plane
Fly directly from Düsseldorf, Cologne-Bonn, Hamburg, Frankfurt am Main, and Berlin to Salzburg Airport. From there, it’s only 15 km to the AMBER HOTEL Bavaria.
